Abstract: In this study,the accumulation of evodin,evodiamin and rutaecarpine in the flower and fruit of Evodia lenticellata Huang was investigated using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).An Inertsil ODS-3 C18 column (4.6×150 mm,5 μm) was used with acetonitrile,tetrahydrofuran and ultra pure water (41:1:58) as mobile phases.The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.The detection wavelength was 225 nm and column temperature was kept at 30 ℃.Rutaecarpine had good linearity in the range of 49.65-248.25 μg/mL,Y=1955.4X-5577.3 (R2=0.9996).The average recovery was 102.70% with RSD of 3.00% (n=6);Evodin had good linearity in the range of 8.88-88.80 μg/mL,Y=89913X+7319 1(R2=0.9990).The average recovery was 103.99% with RSD of 2.18% (n=6);Evodiamin had good linearity in the range of 8.25-49.49 μg/mL,Y=56127X-51856 (R2=0.9990).The average recovery was 103.50% with RSD of 1.48% (n=6).The results showed that the content of evodin,evodiamin and rutaecarpine increased constantly with the growth of E.lenticellata and reached the highest when the fruits were close to maturity.The fruits of E.lenticellata were rich in evodin,evodiamin and rutaecarpine.
