Abstract: In this study,a supercritical CO2 extraction method was optimized for the extraction of essential oil from Cinnamomum camphora (L.) leaf. Results showed that the optical extraction conditions of were:CO2 flow rate of 20 L/h,extraction pressure of 18 MPa,temperature of 46 ℃,extraction time of 1.6 h. Under these conditions, the extraction rate of essential oil from C. camphora can reach 98.37%,higher than Soxhlet extraction by 42.92%,and higher than vapor distillation by 26.96%. When 0.6% ethanol was added as co-solvent on supercritical CO2 extraction, the extraction time can be shortened by 26 min, which contributed to reduce the cost. The research on the variation law of C. camphora leaf oil was also carried out, results showed that the content of C. camphora leaf oil in Summer and Autumn was higher than in Spring and Winter, which touching the bottom in January.
