Simultaneous Determination of Seven Lignans from Schisandrae chinensis Fructus by Ultra-performance Liquid Chromatography

Abstract: In this study,an ultra-performance liquid chromatography(UPLC)was developed for the simultaneous determination of 7 lignans from Schisandrachinensis fruits.The analytes were separated on an ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 column(50 mm×2.1 mm,1.7 μm) with acetonitrile-water as mobile phases in gradient elution under 254 nm.The flow rate was 0.4 mL/min and column temperature was set as 30 ℃.The injection volume was 2 μL.By using the optimized method,the detection limits of the 7 lignans ranged from0.0105 to 0.1600 μg/mL,the limits of quantitation ranged from 0.1050 to 0.8200 μg/mL.The recoveries of the 7 lignans in the samples were 95.09% to 104.5% with relative standard deviation(RSD%) ranged from 0.0340% to 1.3800%.The established UPLC method for the simultaneous determination of 7 lignans can provide a more comprehensive reference for the quality control of S.chinensi.
