Advances in Physiology Biochemistry and Regulation Mechanism of Anthocyanin in Purple Shoots of Tea Plant (Camellia sinensis)

Abstract: As a kind of special germplasm resource,the purple shoots of tea plant contain anthocyanins with multiple physiological activities.In this review,the physiology and biochemistry of purple shoots of tea plant,and biosynthesis pathway and influencing factors of anthocyanins were summarized,in order to lay the foundation for further research of the regulation mechanism of anthocyanin synthesis and metabolism in tea plants.
