Abstract:

The difference of flavonoid content between raceme and panicle varieties of large-flowered taxa of Epimedium was analyzed by UPLC-MS/MS.Mass spectrometry was collected by electrospray ion source positive ion mode (ESI+),and quantitative analysis of 14 active ingredients in Herba Epimedii was carried out by multiple reaction monitoring (MRM).The results showed that the content of flavonoids in the panicle was significantly higher than that in the raceme. The content and variation trend of E.koreanum were different from other inflorescence varieties. The results of clustering showed that the racemes and panicles were clearly distinguished, and the E.koreanum was classified as a category in PCA and PLS-DA,which was consistent with the results of content analysis. This was consistent with E.koreanum belonging to sect. Macroceras group, while other Chinese species belonged to sect. Diphyllon group.The method is sensitive, accurate and rapid, and suitable for quantitative analysis of Epimedium. The results provide scientific support for quality control and breed selection of Epimedium herb.
