Abstract:

Effect of different doses of potassium-dissolving bacteria on growth and development in Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis was researched. In this study, the pot inoculation experiment was conducted to inoculate potassium-dissolving bacteria during the seedling stage of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis.The inoculated doses of potassium-dissolving bacteria were 5.83,17.50 and 35.00 g,and the same amount of water was used as the control (CK).The result showed that root vigor, chlorophyll, carotenoids, soluble protein and soluble sugar contents were increased, protective enzyme (superoxide dismutase, peroxidase and catalase) activities and malondialdehyde content were reduced by inoculation of potassium-dissolving bacteria, compared with CK.The nutrient element in new rhizomes and old rhizomes of the plants inoculated with potassium-dissolving bacteria were increased, such as manganese (Mn),magnesium (Mg) and zinc (Zn),while heavy metals were generally decreased including plumbum (Pb),cuprum (Cu),arsenic (As) and cadmium (Cd).The results showed that the seedling stage of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis inoculation with potassium-dissolving bacteria can promote the growth and development, promote the accumulation of nutrient elements in its rhizomes, and reduce contents of heavy metals.Among them, inoculation with 35.00 g of potassium-dissolving bacteria had the best effect on promoting the growth of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis, and followed by 17.50 g of potassium-dissolving bacteria.
