Abstract:

The volatile oils of healthy and debility pine needles of Pinus yunnanensis were collected using head-space adsorption method. Chemical constituents of oils in two states were isolated and identified by using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry GC-MS and computer information searching. The relative contents of the volatile constituents were calculated by ionic flow chromatographic area normalization method. The results showed that the constituents and contents of volatiles changed largely during the process from healthy to debility. There were 15 different constituents and 18 same constituents between two states pine needles. The relative contents of the same constituents of two states pine needles were different.
