Abstract:

The chemical constituents of the aerial part of Myripnois dioica Bunge was studied. 15 compounds have been isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of M. dioica by column chromatography on silica gel and Sephadex LH-20. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral analysis and identified as feru1ic acid (1), friedelin (2), friedelinol (3), friedel-1-en-3-one (4), 3-acetoxy oleanolic acid (5), calotropfriedelenol (6), friedelan-3α-yl-acetate (7), quercetin (8), 5,7,3,4'-tethrahydroxyflavanone (9), taxifolin (10), ixerin A (11), 14-oxomelampolide (12), ainsliaside B (13), β-sitosterol (14), and β-daucosterol (15).All compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
