Progress of Chemical Constituents and Pharmacology of Genus Rubus

Abstract: The chemical constituents and pharmacology of Rubus in the latest 10 years were summarized to supply the scientific basis for further exploitation of Rubus. Flavonoids, terpenoids, tannins and steroids are the main constituents of Rubus. It has wide range of pharmacological effects including antibiosis, antiinflammatory, antitumor, antioxidant, anti-allergic, hepatoprotective and antinociceptive.
