Abstract: A strain of Streptomyces corchorusii (coded as NF0919) was isolated in our laboratory. It was antagonistic to Rhizoctonia solani Kühn and produced alkyl glycoside which had antifungal activity. In this study, the TLC solvent system was developed to separate the chemical components of fermentation broth of Streptomyces corchorusii strain NF0919 based on single factor tests. The TLC solvent system was further optimized using the uniform design and quadratic polynomial stepwise regression. The optimal solvent system was determined to be:chloroform-methanol-water-glacial acetic acid=10:2.75:0.5:0.2.Under the optimal solvent system, the fermentation broth separated clearly.
