Abstract: In this study, high uric acid mice model was induced by xanthine. The model mice were randomly divided into:model control group, normal control group, positive group,WMHSTY group,MHSTY group,CTY group and STCCNSY group, and give medicine respectively. The correlation between the reducing levels of uric acid and content of sinigrin in the extract of Thlaspi awogrlse L was investigated and used to illuminate the effects of T.awogrlse and sinigrin on gout.As a result,MHSTY and WMHSTY both can notably decrease levels of uric acid on mice with high uric acid induced by xanthanine, and there was no significant difference between them, while the content of sinigrin were different;the content of sinigrin was the highest in CTY,but it did not affect the levels of uric acid;there was no sinigrin in STCCNSY while it can significantly decrease uric acid level of the model. These results suggested that sinigrin was not related to the effect of Tibetan medicine T.awogrlse on lowering the uric acid level in mice induced by xanthanine.
