Chemical Constituents of Typhae Pollen

Abstract: Twenty six compounds were isolated from EtOAc and BuOH extracts of pollen of Typha angustifolia L.using chromatographic techniques.On the basis of spectral data and literature,all the compounds were elucidated as follows:naringenin (1),isorhamnetin-3-O-rutinoside (2),quercetin-3-O-neohesperidoside (3),quercetin-3-O-(2G-α-L-rhamnosyl)-rutinoside (4),isorhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside (5),typhaneoside (6),kaempferol-3-O- neohesperidoside (7),kaempferol-3-O-(2-G-a-L-rhamnosyl)-rutinoside (8),5α,8α- epidioxyergosta-6,22-dien-3β-ol (9),stigmastan-3,6-dione (10),β-sitosteryl-3-O-glucopyrano-side-6′-palmitate (11),β-sitosteryl-3-O-glucopyranoside-6′-eicosanoic acid (12),allantoin (13),6-aminopurine (14),hypoxanthine (15),uracil (16),stearic acid (17),lauric acid (18),vanillic acid (19),nonacosanediol-6,8 (20),nonacosanediol-6,10 (21),nonacosanediol-6,21 (22),hexacosanol-1 (23),hexadecanol-1 (24),pentacosane (25),monopalmitin (26).Among these compounds,11,12,13,18,23 and 24 were isolated from Genus Typhaceae for the first time.
