Abstract: To investigate the active chemical composition of Blumea balsamifera (L.) DC.,a rapid identification of chemical constituents method of ultra-high performance liquid coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE) was conducted.A BEH C18 column (100 mm×2.1 mm,1.7 μm) eluted with a step gradient mobile phase composed of water (A) and acetonitrile (B) each containing 0.1% formic acid and the flow rate was 0.40 mL/min,HRESI/MS was operated in positive/negative ion mode individually.Qualitative identification was recorded by combination of DNP with literature reported.22 compounds were identified from the 23 peaks detected in EtOAc part, and 21 compounds were determined from the 25 signals detected in petroleum ether fraction. This study clarified the chemical composition of effective parts of Blumea balsamifera (L.) DC.and provides basis for new drug agents exploration from Blumea balsamifera (L.) DC.
