Study on chemical constituents of Patrinia scabiosaefolia

Abstract:

To study the chemical constituents of Patrinia scabiosaefolia,chromatography,such as silica gel,Sephadex-LH 20,Pre-HPLC,were used for separation and purification,then the structure was identified by spectral technique.Twenty-four compounds were isolated and determined as 8,9-didehydro-7-hydroxydolichodial(1),convoldorine (2),3-O-p-coumaroylquinic acid (3),coniferaldehyde (4),sinapaldehyde (5),C-veratroylglycol (6),2,3-dihydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-1-propanone (7),scopoletin (8),7-methoxycoumarin-6-β-D-glucopyranoside (9),aseculin (10),clovin (11),robinin (12),benzyl-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (13),icariside F2(14),2-phenylethyl-1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (15),icariside D1 (16),emodin (17),β-sitosterol (18),ursolic acid(19),2α,6α-dihydroxy-5-[(E)-3′-hydroxy-3′-methyl-1′-butenyl]-6-methyl-4-cyclohexen-3-one (20),loliolide (21),isololiolide (22),3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl-1-β-D-glucopyranoside (23),p-hydroxybenzaldehyde (24).Compound 1 is a new natural compound,and compounds 2,3,5-7,9-17,20,22-24 were isolated from this genus for the first time.The screening experiment of cytotoxic activity indicated that all the compounds don′t show inhibition on human colon cancer HCT-116 cells.
