Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) broke out in Wuhan,Hubei province in late December 2019.As of April 30,2020,there are more than 80 000 confirmed cases in China and more than 3 million confirmed cases in the world.As of April 30,2020,there are more than 80 000 confirmed cases in China and more than 3 million confirmed cases in the world.They are highly infectious and spread widely.Severe patients can rapidly progress to acute respiratory distress syndrome,multiple organ failure and other serious complications due to "cytokine storm" in the course of moderate and low fever or even no obvious fever.At present,the COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment plan calls for strengthening the integration of Chinese and Western medicine,and the integrative medicine has also achieved positive results.In this paper,the network pharmacology method is used to explore the action path and potential mechanism of Xuebijing injection in the treatment of severe COVID-19,which is closely related to the intervention of cytokine storm.It is expected to make a beneficial supplement to the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine in the existing diagnosis and treatment scheme,and play an important role in fighting the epidemic.
