To predict the potential targets and mechanisms of Gancaoxiexin Decoction in the treatment of prostate cancer based on network pharmacology.The TCMSP database was used to screen out the potential active ingredients of the traditional Chinese medicines in this prescription.And the targets of herbs were analyzed and screened by the Drugbank and STITCH databases.The treatment targets of prostate cancer were screened from the TTD and DisGeNET databases.Combined the two results via Venny chart to obtained the intersection,the PPI database was used to construct the interactive target regulation function of Gancaoxiexin Decoction and prostate cancer.At the same time,the DAVID and STRING analysis platform was used for GO analyses and enrichment of KEGG signaling pathways.In this study,170 potential active ingredients and 60 target proteins mapped to disease were screened.The active ingredients of the drug in the prescription mainly act on PTGS2,ESR1,AR,PPARG and other target proteins,which regulates the MAPK signal pathway,VEGF signal pathway and apoptosis apoptotic pathway,and play a crucial role in treating prostate cancer.In conclusion,Gancaoxiexin Decoction can treat prostate cancer by multi-target and multi-pathway interventions that arrest cell cycle,inhibit cell proliferation,inhibit neovascularization and promot cell death.
