First of all,this is not a general review of the diterpenoid alkaloids.This paper described briefly some highlights in investigation of chemistry of diterpenoid alkaloids,mainly including phytochemistry,chemical reactions,conversional synthesis,total syntheses,and cardiac active compounds from the lateral roots of Aconitum carmichaelii,by author and co-orkers for about forty years.
