With the major changes in the mainstream commodities of Alismatis Rhizoma in China,it is urgent to establish the specification and grade standards of Sichuan Alismatis Rhizoma.In this paper,42 batches of Alismatis Rhizoma are preliminarily didided into 73 groups.and their potential grading indicators were quantitatively determined,including individual weight,length,diameter,powder color value (L*,a*,b*) and other appearance traits,as well as intrinsic material base indicators such as extractables,three triterpenoid pharmacodynamic components (23-acetyl alisol B,23-acetyl alisol C and alisol C),total triterpenoids,and total polysaccharide content.The descriptive statistical method,analysis of variance method,entropy weight method,gray correlation degree method and correlation analysis method were comprehensively used to carry out multi-econometric analysis of the measured data,and the total content of a single weight,length and three triterpenoid components were screened out as the grade classification indicators of Alismatis Rhizoma.The K-means cluster analysis method was used to preliminarily formulate the grade standards of Alismatis Rhizoma commodities as follows:The single weight of first grade was≥25 g,the length was 5.5-7.0 cm,and the total content of three triterpenoids was≥0.6%;The single weight of second grade was 15-25 g,the length was 4.0-5.5 cm,and the total content of three triterpenoids was 0.4%-0.6%.The single weight of ungraded goods was≥10 g,the length was 2.0-7.0 cm,the total content of three triterpenoids was≥0.2%.In summary,this study screened out the scientific indicators of the classification of Alismatis Rhizoma commodities,and formulated the commodity grade standards (draft) of Alismatis Rhizoma,which is conducive to promoting the realization of "high quality and high price" of Alismatis Rhizoma in the commodity market.
