Two New Compounds from Ganoderma cochlear

Abstract: Two new meroterpenoids,termed cochlearols E (1) and F (2),along with two known meroterpenoids,ganocins A (3) and B (4) were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma cochlear.The structures of the new compounds were identified on the basis of spectroscopic methods.In particular,compounds 1,3 and 4 were isolated as racemic mixtures,chiral separation of 1 followed by computational methods assigned its absolute configuration.
