Abstract: This study was aimed to investigate the effect of Buckwheat Bee Pollen ethanol extract on tryosinase activity. The results showed that 50% ethanol extract was the most sensitive part for inhibiting tyrosinase activity. Then three pure tannin compounds were further separated from this part by MCI and ODS column:1,2,3,4,6-five-O-galloyl-D-glucose (1),1,2,3,4,6-five-O-galloyl-2-O-between-double galloyl-D-glucose (2) and glucose that connected nine galloyl (3).These three compounds were firstly isolated and identified from Buckwheat Bee Pollen. When the concentration of compound 1,2 and 3 was 1 mg/mL,their inhibition rates on tyrosinase were:60.77%,78.25% and 53.64%,respectively.
