Abstract: Seven compounds were isolated and purified from Evodia rutaecarpa by silica gel column chromatography,MCI columnchromatography,Sephadex (LH20),HPLC and recrystallization etc.The structures of these compounds were determined based on NMR and ESIMS spectral data,as well as comparing with previous literature data.Seven compounds were determined as limonoid (1),wuchuyuamide (2),evodiamine (3),rutaecarpin (4),dievodiamine (5),evodol (6),Evodiagenine (7).In the next step,all compounds were screened for their antimonoamine oxidase activities.Compounds 3 and 5 showed MAO inhibitory activities with IC50 values of 55 μg/mL、68 μg/mL,respectively,at the concentration of 167 μg/mL.
