Abstract

Abstract: The dry herb,root and seed of Sophora alopecuroides L.have functions in heat-clearing and detoxifying,anti-bacteria and anti-inflammation in traditional Chinese medicine.Recent studies demonstrated that the chemical components of Sophora alopecuroides L.include alkaloids,flavones,volatile oils,amino acids and polysaccharides.Pharmacological research indicated that it exhibits central inhibition,anti-arrhythmic,anti-inflammation,anti-tumor effects.The review mainly summarizes the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of Sophora alopecuroides L.in recent years.
