Abstract: To investigate the effects of yak skin gelatin on erythroid parameters and spleen structure of cyclophosphamide-induced anemia mice.Intraperitoneal injection cyclophosphamide for 4 days to establish the aplastic anemia mice model, then divided the anemia mice into 6 groups.Besides the model group, the other 5 groups were received yak skin gelatin,1 g/(kg·d),2 g/(kg·d),3 g/(kg·d) and 6 g/(kg·d)) and Lvjiaobuxue granules(14.05 g/(kg·d) respectively. After 7,14 and 21 days’ administration, singled out mice randomly and analyzed the erythroid parameters, organ indexes and morphology of the spleen. The results showed that, compared with the model group,HGB was significantly increased (P<0.05) in the 1 g/(kg·d) group on 7th,14th and 21th day.RBC,HGB,HCT,MCH and MCHC were significantly increased (P<0.05) in the 2 g/(kg·d) group on 7th,14th and 21th day.RBC and MCHC were significantly increased (P<0.05) in the 3 g/(kg·d) group, and MCH was significantly increased (P<0.05) in the 6 g/(kg·d) group on 7th and 14th day.Additionally, splenic lymphocytes increased and the line between white pulp and red pulp in the spleen became evident in each medicated group. These indicated that all concentrations of yak skin gelatin had a positive effect on hematopoietic function, and continuous received 14 d at the dose of 2 g/(kg·d) yak skin gelatin could greatly improve anemia.
