Abstract: Using the seeds of Cymbidium tracyanum L. as the explant, the effects of different medium component on induction of protocorm, and plant growth regulators on the tissue culture and rapid propagation were studied in this paper. The result showed that:1/2MS affected the induction rate of protocorm; The best Culture medium for obviously enhanced the induction and proliferation of buds was l/2MS +TDZ0.5 mg/L+NAA0.1 mg/L;The Culture medium of 1/2MS +IBA0.2 mg/L played the key role in the process of rooting and seedling growth;Culture medium selection was a critical factor greatly influencing, the survival rate reached 96% of the transplants. The study laid the foundation for rapid propagation of Cymbidium tracyanum L..
