Abstract: Dendrobium candidum is a traditional Chinese medicine,widely used in daily health care and clinical treatment,and has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad.In recent years,studies have shown that Dendrobium candidum has many chemical components,including polysaccharides, astragalus, amino acids, mineral elements,alkaloids,volatile oils,etc.,of which polysaccharides and astragalus are the main components.Antioxidant,anti-tumor,immune regulation,fatigue relief,treatment of diabetes are the main pharmacological activities,researchers mainly studied on its antioxidant and anti-tumor.Based on the literature reports of Dendrobium candidum  in recent 20 years,the chemical composition,separation status and pharmacological efficacy of Dendrobium candidum  were summarized and analyzed.This paper may provide theoretical basis for further research on Dendrobium candidum resources and new drug research and development in the future.
