Abstract: On the basis of clarifying the chemical structures of two high-content daidzein and genistein from Ganoderma sichuanense fermentation broth. The contents of these isoflavonoids in G. sichuanense,G. lucidum and culture medium were determined by HPLC.The results showed that the contents of daidzein and genistein had no significant difference in the mycelia between G. sichuanense and G. lucidum. However, the contents of daidzein and genistein in the fermentation broth of G. sichuanense  with soybean meal powder were significantly higher than those of G. lucidum with soybean meal powder or G. sichuanense  without soybean meal powder.Compared with G. lucidum,it is speculated that G. sichuanense  might produce a large number of glycoside hydrolases to promote the hydrolysis of daidzin and genistin. To lay a foundation for further study on the production of isoflavones in the fermentation process of G. sichuanense .
