Abstract: Fourteen diterpenoid alkaloids, including sachaconitine (1),8-O-methylsachaconitine (2),14-O-acetylsachaconitine (3),6-epiforsticine (4),8-O-methyltalatisamine (5),14-methyltalatisamine (6),austroconitine B (7),hemsleyadine (8),vilmorrianine A (9),yunaconitine (10),N-deethyl-N-19-didehydrosachaconitine (11),14-debenzoylfranchetine (12),deacetylheterophylloidine (13),sczukinine (14),were isolated from Aconitum forrestii Stapf by silica gel column chromatography and identified by NMR,MS and literature comparison.Compounds 1-9,11-14 were isolated from this plant for the first time. The protective activity against adriamycin induced H9c2 rate of compound 5 was 65.25% compared with 60.24% of adriamycin when the concentration was 40 μM,which indicated compound 5 behaved certain protective activity, while none of the other compounds showed any activity.

Key words: Aconitum, Aconitum forrestii Stapf, diterpenoid alkaloid, myocardial protective activity
