Abstract:

In this study,LPS thermogenic model was used to observe the effects of decoction of wild Tetrasfigmae Radix(DWTR) on anal temperature, number and percentage of plasma leukocytes, neutrophils, lymphocytes and monocytes,as well as serum IL-6,PCT,CRP and IL-10 levels in febrile immature rats. The results showed that compared with the normal control group, the body temperature of immature rats increased significantly after 20 μg/kg LPS stimulation for 2.5 hours (P<0.01).Compared with LPS model group,5 and 10 g/kg DWTR could significantly reduce the body temperature of febrile immature rats (P<0.01).It can significantly reduce the number of white blood cells (P<0.01),the number and percentage of neutrophils (P<0.01),the number of monocytes (P<0.01) and its percentage (P<0.05,P<0.01),and significantly increase the number of lymphocytes (P<0.05) and its percentage (P<0.01).Serum IL-6 content (P<0.05,P<0.01),CRP level (P<0.05,P<0.01) and PCT content (P<0.05) were significantly reduced in immature rats;10 g/kg can improve the level of IL-10 in immature rats (P<0.05).It shows that DWTR has good antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects on immature rats.
