Abstract:

Antifungal secondary metabolites of the culture of an endophytic fungus,Fusarium sp.HU0174,from Celtis sinensis were investigated.A new cyclic depsipeptide acuminatum D (1),along with six known compounds acuminatums A-C (2-4),beauvericin (5),bassiatin (6) and indole-3-carboxylic acid (7),were isolated by silica gel column chromatography, macroporous adsorbent resin column chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography.Their structures were determinated by means of NMR and mass spectra.Compounds 1-4 exhibited significant antifungal activities against the pathogenic Penicillium digitatum and Curvularia lunata by agar diffusion method.
