Abstract:

N-maleoyl chitosan oligosaccharide (NMCOS), N-succinyl chitosan oligosaccharide (NSCOS) and N-phthaloyl chitosan oligosaccharide (NPCOS) with the same substituting degree were prepared by N-acylation of chitosan oligosaccharide. The substituting degrees of NMCOS1, NSCOS1 and NPCOS1 were 0.25. The substituting degrees of NMCOS2, NSCOS2, and NPCOS2 were 0.49. Their power reducing were evaluated and the results showed the order of the power reducing of the N-acyl chitosan oligosaccharide with the same substituting degrees is NPCOS>NMCOS>NSCOS. That may be related to the properties of the substituting groups.
