Abstract:

To optimize the microwave-enzyme synergistic extraction process of Pleurotus ostreatus stem polysaccharides, on the base of single factor investigation, effects of extraction time, microwave power, and ratio of solvent to material as well as their interactions on yield of the polysaccharides were studied by central composite design. The predictive polynomial quadratic equations model was developed by response surface analysis. The optimal extraction conditions of the P. ostreatus stem polysaccharides concluded as follows: extraction time 8 min, microwave power 420 W, and ratio of water to material 55:1. Under these conditions, the yield of the polysaccharides was up to 6.05%.
