Abstract:

Seventeen compounds were isolated from the aerial parts of Meconopsis punicea. On the basis of MS and NMR data, their structures were identified as karachine (1),valachine (2),dihydrosanguinarine (3),(–) mecambridine (4),protopine (5),oleracein E (6),anhydroberberillic acid (7),berberine (8),alborine (9),luteolin (10),tricin (11),dihydroquercetin (12),apigenin (13),hydnocarpin (14),tricin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (15),p-coumaric acid (16) and uracil (17). Among them, compound 123715 and 17 were isolated from the genus for the first time, and compound 6811 and 14 were isolated from the species for the first time. 2D NMR techniques including HSQC,HMBC and NOESY were used to completely assign the spectra of 1 and 2 for the first time.
