Abstract: Seven cyclopeptides were isolated and purified from the immature fruits of Citrus aurantium L.by silica gel,Sephadex LH-20 and HPLC. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic data as Cyclo-(Leu1-Ile2-Ala3-Thr4-Gly5-Thr6-Phe7) (Citrusin I) (1), Cyclo-(Gly1-Leu2-Val3-Leu4-Pro5-Ser6) (2), Cyclo(Leu1-Leu2-Pro3-Tyr4-Gly5-Ser6-Pro7) (Citrusin III) (3), Cyclo-(Gly1-Gly2-Leu3-Leu4-Leu5-Pro6-Pro7-Phe8) (4),Cyclo-(Pro-Ala) (5), Cyclo-(Ala-Ile) (6), Cyclo-(Ala-Leu) (7). All compounds except 2 and 4 were isolated from this plant for the first time.
