Abstract: The ultrasonic extraction technology was used to extract total flavonoids from Spartina. The influences of ethanol concentration,solid-liquid ratio, extraction time and temperature on the extraction percent of the flavonoids were analyzed through an orthogonal experiment. The optimum conditions were obtained as follows:45 ℃,20 min, solidliquid ratio of 1:30 (g/mL),ethanol concentration of 80%.The influential degree of each impact factor decreased in the order of solid-liquid ratio>ethanol concentration>extraction temperature> extraction time. Both the total antioxidant activity and scavenging activities for superoxide anion radicals were obviously related to the concentrations. The total flavonoids extracts from Spartina could significantly clear up MDA.
