Abstract: This study was trying to explored the characterization of the metabolism and the diverse structures of Malaysian Borneo Acacica mangium honey.Thirteen compounds have been isolated and determined from Malaysian Borneo Acacica mangium honey by modern chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques such as HPLC-DAD,TLC,NMR,and LC-MS-UV,they were 5-(hydroxymethyl)-2-furancarboxaldehyd (1), 3-Furancarboxylic acid, 4-hydroxy-5-methyl (2), (2s),3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-1,2-propanediol (3); p-hydroxybenzoic acid (4); protocatechuic acid (5), (E)-2-decenedioic acid (6), (E)11-hydroxyundec-2-enoic acid (7), (+)pinoresinol (8),naringenin (9), 5,7,3′,5′-tetrahydroxy flavanone (10),cenistein (11),Nimbecetin (12),quercetin (13).This is the first detailed study of Malaysian Borneo Acacica mangium honey on the characteristics of the structures of its secondary metabolites.
