Abstract: This paper described the development direction and strategies of Chinese aloe industry based on the biological properties and current research achievements of aloe.Aloe industry is known as a health industry.The direction of aloe industry is to develop health and biomedical functional products.And then,we discussed the current situation and development course of Chinese aloe industry.The law of development and specific direction of aloe industry were presented as well.To make full use of the biological properties of aloe and create more value,we suggested that aloe industry should be extended from food and daily chemical products to health products and medicine.Final,the key techniques of Chinese aloe industry was analyzed.The research on effective material basic,mechanism,constituentactivity relationship and quality control are considered to be the urgently problem in product upgrading.The present review aimed to promote the development of Chinese aloe industry.
