Abstract: This article was aimed to discuss the protective effect of Schizandrin B on human liver cells (L02) oxidized by peroxide.Oxidize human liver cells (L02) by peroxide then group the cells.Oxidized cells were divided into four groups:model, low, medium and high dose treatment groups, which were co-incubated with 0,5,10 and 15μmol/L of Schizandrin B (Sch B) respectively for 6 h.The cell survival rate was determined using CCK-8.The contents of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), transaminases (AST), malondialdehyde(MDA) and the activity of Superoxide Dismutase(SOD) in the cell culture supernatant by ELISA were evaluated in order to estimate the protective effect of Sch B on injured L02 cells.Compared with the control group, cell livability decreased,LDH,AST and MDA increased and the activity of SOD weakened simultaneously in all the experimental groups.Compare model group with Sch B groups, cell livability improved,LDH,AST and MDA reduced and the activity of SOD was strengthened concurrently in the latter ones. The changes were proportional to the dosage of Sch B between 0.15 μmol/L.Hence,it was deducted that Sch B can alleviate the oxidative injury caused by H2O2.The protective effect on oxidised L02 cells showed in a dose dependent manner.
