Abstract: The current report studied the chemical constitutents of Combretum pilosum Roxb collected from Hainan Province in China.In order to study the chemical constitutents from the Combretum pilosum Roxb, Silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 colunm chromatography were used to isolate the chemical constituents,and the structures of compounds were identificated by spectral analysis such as ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR and EI-MS.Seven compounds were isolated and identified as:Friedelin (1)、Hederagenin(2)、Phytol(3)、Vanillin (4)、β-sitosterol(5)、Ursolic acid(6)、Lupeol(7),which were isolated from Combretum pilosum Roxb.for the first time.
