Abstract: Tropolone is a kind of non-benzenoid aromatic compounds containing a seven-membered ring structure.And most of them have a lot of biological properties such as antifungal,antibacterial,antiviral,antitumor,etc.These compounds have caused widespread attention since the first reported because of their unique chemical structure.This paper focuses on the structure diversity,biological activity and biosynthesis of tropolone.
