Abstract: Fats and oil components were extracted by Soxhlet extraction from Anacyclus pyrethrum (L) DC using three different organic solvent (n-hexane,diethyl ether, chloroform). The chemical constituents of fatty acids in different extracts were identified and semi-quantified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).The results indicated that 8 components, mainly including linoleic acid (36.341%),hexadecanoic acid (34.268%) and oleic acid (19.656%),were detected in the n-hexane extract;12 components, mainly including linoleic acid (34.102%),hexadecanoic acid (32.916%),oleic acid (20.000%) and α-linolenic acid (5.329%),were detected in the diethyl ether extract;5 components, mainly including linoleic acid (42.427%),hexadecanoic acid (40.952%) and oleic acid (11.250%),were detected in chloroform extract. In addition, the fatty acid extracts showed strong inhibiting effect on PTP1B,and their IC50 values were 5.27±0.40,4.71±0.08,7.01±1.98 μg/mL respectively. The results provided the basis for further study of Anacyclus pyrethrum (L) DC.
