Interaction Mechanism between Cinnamic acid-La (III) Complex and Herring Sperm DNA

Abstract

Abstract: The UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to study the interaction of cinnamic acid with the La (Ш).The results showed that La (Ш) and cinnamic acid can form a complex with the molar ratio of 1:2,and its molar absorptivity was ε=4.9×10⁶ L/(mol·cm).In addition,the interaction between cinnamic acid-La (III) complex and DNA was studied.The results showed that the intercalation effects existed between DNA and complex,and the binding constant k was 4.47×10³ L/mol of complex with DNA,the molar ratio of 1:3.
