Abstract: Because of the complexity and diversity of antioxidant reaction,many methods have been used to determine antioxidant capacity.However,there was not a standard and unified method and parameter until now.Because of many advantages of CuCl₂-neocuproine used in the CUPRAC method,the CUPRAC method has been widely applied to determine antioxidant capacity.In this article,the application of the main and modified CUPRAC methods in the study of antioxidant capacity of multicomponent was reviewed.The advantages and disadvantages of those methods were discussed.
