Abstract: The objective of this research was to investigate the hypolipidemic properties of heparin polysaccharides.The hyperlipidemia mice model were constructed by feeding with high fat diet.The results showed that different doses of low molecular weight heparin and poly sulfated heparin had significantly effects on cholesterol reduction in hyperlipidemia mice,especially the medium dose and high dose groups.In addition,high dose of low molecular weight heparin decreased the content of blood triglyceride in mice,with obvious weight loss.However,the level of MDA in medium dose and high dose groups was significantly decreased,which indicated that low molecular weight heparin strongly enhanced the capacity of antioxidant.It was found that the hypolipidemic properties of low molecular weight heparin was higher than poly sulfated heparin and unfractioned heparin.
