Abstract: Chemical constituents of fermentation broth of marine-derived fungus Hansfordia sinuosae were studied using column chromatography,semi-preparative HPLC,ODS column chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, respectively.Three isocoumarin compounds were obtained.Based on 1D NMR,2D NMR,high resolution MS and IR analyses, their structures were elucidated as (E)-6,8-dihydroxy-3-(prop-1-en-1-yl)-1-H-isochromen-1-one (1),(R)-6-hydroxymellein (2),3-methyl-6,8-dihydroxyisocoumarin (3).Compound 1 is a new compound, and compound 3 is isolated from this genus of fungus for the first time.

Key words: marine fungus, Hansfordia sinuosae, secondary metabolite, isocoumarin
